The generic brand packaging which was a blue stripe on a white background was a laconic statement which lashed at the
packaged obsessed pinnacle of consumer culture and become mythos to the post punk generation. The supermarket chain which
housed this offered its metaphor in every aisle. It was a cunning statement amidst the brand obsessed eighties and become to
many amongst the post punk era an object to turn their consumption into art. In 1992 this generic branding is woven into a ready made label and this
unbranded lexicon is sewn in and born as a testimony to this debunking.
